Nova Scotia has more lighthouses than any other province in Canada, reflecting the province’s deep maritime heritage. Among them, Peggy’s Cove, some even say it’s the most photographed lighthouse in the world!

Unique wine
Nova Scotia is the only place in the world that produces Tidal Bay wine, a crisp white wine shaped by the region’s unique coastal climate. The Annapolis Valley, at a similar latitude to Bordeaux, France, is also famous for its vineyards and apple orchards.

Home of the World’s Highest Tides
The Bay of Fundy, bordering Nova Scotia, experiences the world’s highest tides. At Burntcoat Head Park, you can walk on the ocean floor at low tide and witness the dramatic tidal changes—over 160 billion tonnes of seawater flow in and out twice daily.
